CRAZY NEON®’s latest HGTV feature on Crashers follows its earlier collaboration with Rock the Block, bringing two custom neon collaborations to the screen.

DE, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- CRAZY NEON, a US-based modern illuminated sign manufacturer, announced that their “FUN” custom neon sign was featured on HGTV’s Crashers episode 109. The appearance follows the brand’s earlier work on Season 7 of Rock the Block. The two television collaborations highlight how personalized neon signs can become part of the design language of professionally transformed spaces.

From Custom Neon to the HGTV Screen

The feature appears on Crashers, HGTV’s renovation series hosted by Jonathan Knight, in which teams complete surprise 72-hour home transformations. In the episode, Knight and his team redesign a couple’s basement to balance a man-cave concept with a family-friendly layout, creating a shared space for play and hosting.

As part of that renovation, a CRAZY NEON® custom LED neon sign spelling “FUN” is brought into the space. The sign is shown being unpacked and installed before becoming part of the finished room, giving viewers a look at how a modern LED neon piece can move from a standalone design into an integrated element of an interior. The finished sign was also featured in a photo with Knight, providing another look at the piece as part of the completed renovation.

An Earlier Appearance on “Rock the Block”

The Crashers feature follows CRAZY NEON®'s appearance on Rock the Block, HGTV's home renovation competition. The show's 7th season brought together HGTV design professionals and celebrity partners, with teams competing to transform homes in Las Vegas.

During Season 7 of HGTV’s Rock the Block, CRAZY NEON® created the “Balls to the Wall” custom neon sign for an RV garage recreation area designed around pickleball and entertainment. The space was first introduced in Episode 5, “Great Reasons To Be Mad,” and revisited in Episode 7, “Let’s Win This.” Designers Scott McGillivray and Brooke Hogan also shared behind-the-scenes glimpses of the installation on Instagram.

While the two projects presented different design challenges, both used custom neon for the same fundamental purpose: giving a finished space a distinct visual identity.

When Neon Becomes Part of the Design

Custom-made neon signs have traditionally been associated with storefronts, restaurants, and nightlife, but their use in residential and interior design has expanded considerably. A personalized LED neon sign can function as both illumination and décor, bringing color, typography, and messaging into a space without requiring a major structural change.

For homeowners, that might mean a favorite phrase in a game room or bedroom. For a business, it could be a logo or branded message. For a creative space, it could be original artwork created specifically for the environment.

The CRAZY NEON® projects featured on Crashers and Rock the Block demonstrate that flexibility. The "FUN" sign reinforces the purpose of an entertainment-focused basement, while "Balls to the Wall" complements the playful energy of a recreation area.

Also included in the list of brands that the CRAZY NEON® had created signs for are Nike, Amazon, Meta, Red Bull, Ford, LG Electronics, Bacardi, NBCUniversal, HarperCollins Publishers, Hilton Hotels, Columbia University, and many more.

CRAZY NEON®'s Approach to Custom Neon

CRAZY NEON® specializes in custom-made LED neon signs created around individual words, phrases, logos, artwork, and design concepts. Its customizer process allows customers to select elements such as typography, color, sizing, and layout to create signage suited to a particular space.

The brand’s involvement in HGTV renovation projects adds a real-world example of that approach. Rather than functioning as an isolated decorative piece, each sign was developed to work within a larger interior concept.

Where to Watch

Crashers airs on HGTV and is available to stream on HBO Max and Discovery+ following its television broadcast. Rock the Block also airs on HGTV, with past seasons available through HBO Max and Discovery+.

For viewers, the two HGTV appearances offer more than a glimpse at completed renovations. They show how a custom piece can be designed around the personality and purpose of a room, turning a simple message into part of the space itself.
